Perceived incompetence

21 Feb, 2012 02:22 PM
Gawler Council, in my opinion, must have one of the most incompetent group of individuals, elected and staff, to be found in one place, anywhere in the Commonwealth.

A section of Gawler East has recently had some pipe laying operations in Rudall, Ayer and Gozzard streets.

When the work in Rudall Street was completed the contractors filled the holes and re-laid the tarmac or bitumen.

There have been three large pot-holes in the street for some time.

Two of these pot-holes were within 20 centimetres of the holes made by the contractors.

One would have thought council would have made arrangements for the pot-holes to be repaired while the other work was being done.

The contractors have gone, but the pot-holes remain and will grow bigger and deeper by the day.

Bring back the “ward” system and let the Port Adelaide council run Gawler.
