Ben Madgen’s Augusta State Jaguars move into postseason play this week.
The Jags take on Armstrong Atlantic State in the quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference championships.
After having clearly the best season in his four years in the program, Madgen must surely be a lock-in for consecutive All American selection which will focus even more attention on the basketballer from Williamstown.
Chances are he will get an invite to trial with a number of NBA D League teams which is like a reserves competition for the NBA. Failing that, the lure of good money in Europe is a very viable option but if that falls through, let’s hope the Adelaide 36ers new coach has his phone number.
