THE 2012 Santos Tour Down Under (TDU) rolls into the Barossa Valley next week with Stage Four set to finish in Tanunda on Friday, January 20.
Tanunda is also hosting the finish of the Bupa Challenge, where amateur cyclists have the opportunity to ride the same course on the same day as the professional athletes.
Stage Four of the TDU begins in Norwood at 11am and leads riders through Kersbrook, Mt Pleasant, Springton, Williamstown, Lyndoch, Rowland Flat, Bethany and Angaston before finally reaching Tanunda for the finish at about 2.30pm.
This week’s print edition of the Herald comes with a free magazine containing all the information about Stage Four of the TDU, along with a map of the 130km route and a run down of where and when spectators can see the riders as they make their way towards the finish line.
