Kapunda round of Australian Off Road Championship a success

10 Aug, 2010 03:25 PM
The Kapunda round of the Australian Off Road Championships last weekend has been described as the best this season.

Championship leader Toby Price, of the Motorex KTM Off-Road Team, praised the Gawler Motorcycle Club and the property owners.

“This has been by far the best AORC yet,” Price said.

“Conditions were ideal all weekend and the track and venue unreal.”

Price took back-to-back wins in rounds nine and 10 of the series on Saturday and Sunday.

The epic battle of South Australia’s best continued with Keyneton Motorcycle Club’s Ivan Long (pictured) from Tanunda trumping Kapunda’s Rhyce Ahola of the Gawler Motorcycle Club for the Expert Outright and Polisport Expert E1 Class wins.

Results from the Australian Off Road Championships held at Kapunda on August 7 and 8.
