Gold rush for Bobridge

31 Jan, 2012 01:36 PM
Cycling whiz Jack Bobridge, from Gawler, returned to his best form with three gold medals at the 2012 Subaru Cycling Australia Track National Championships at the Adelaide Super-Drome.

Bobridge, who missed the Santos Tour Down Under after a crash at the Australian road titles in Victoria early in January, landed gold in the mens 40km points race, the mens 15km scratch race and the team’s pursuit.

2012 will be a huge year for the 20-year-old.

“Everything I do now is geared towards the first week of April in Melbourne for the track worlds,” Bobridge said.

“My hunger is at an all time high.”
