Two community service groups have joined to help residents tackle life’s problems.
Barossa General Practice Network and Lutheran Community Care will now work to provide a much-needed crises counselling service for the area.
Addi Stark, an experienced counsellor, has been appointed to the position, which is funded by the Barossa GP Network.
The service will focus in Eudunda, Kapunda, Robertstown and Barossa areas, with Addi working out of the Lutheran Community Care office sites in those locations.
Addi, who has a strong background in family relationships, will also provide personal support, advocacy and referrals to a wide range of other agencies which assist drought related services.
