Carmilla Hyde, the film written and directed by Tanunda's Dave de Vries, has collected another gong.
The movie has claimed the 'best feature film' prize at the South Australian Screen Awards.
"We're really stoked," de Vries said. "This will mean a huge boost in profile and some local recognition."
The prize includes three screenings at the Mercury Theatre where the box office takings will be handed to the filmmakers.
This money will be used to have the movie officially rated and be put towards distribution.
The film is based around a split personality played by Anni Lindner.
It recently got a very favourable review from the ScaryMinds website.
"Both script wise and visually David de Vries has made a stunning movie," ScaryMinds offered.
"One of the best Australian movies from 2009 in any genre, this is the sort of movie the Film Finance people should be investing in."
