The Barossa 'butcher-baker-winemaker' trial has seen a complete revamp.
The new package was launched last week in the original Tanunda butchery - now part of the Turkey Flat cellar door.
The 'butcher-baker-winemaker' trail was developed more than a decade ago to celebrate the region's food and wine traditions.
A new brochure has been developed which takes visitors around the region on a leisurely self-drive trail visiting up to 24 locations.
There is also information supplied about picnic spots and scenic lookouts.
The re-launch in 2010 involves two new features to extend the experience - the VIP Experience Voucher Book and GPS Tour Genie.
The 'VIP experience' voucher book will be available from the Barossa and Gawler Visitor Information Centres from March 7
It costs $65 and offers more than $100 value.
The voucher book comes with a hamper that contains a stainless steel cheese knife, mini chopping board, napkins and dip bowl.
The vouchers can be exchanged for Barossa treats as visitors travel the region.
There is a picking up a complimentary bottle of wine, cheese from the Barossa Valley Cheese Company, and bread from one of four local bakeries among the items to indulge in.
The whole experience can be matched with a 'butcher-baker-winemaker' Tour Genie GPS unit.
With personal interviews from a range of well-known locals, as well as plenty of information on the region and the food and wine heritage, the GPS Tour Genie makes the journey an adventure.
The units will be available for hire for $35 from a number of leading Adelaide hotels from March 1.
"The Barossa is one of South Australia's most visited destinations and we are very excited to offer a new experience which will give guests the chance to sample some of our delicious local produce, enjoy our famous wines and see some of the most beautiful places in the region." said Jaci Thorne, Barossa's Regional Tourism Manager.
