A road safety competition to target young drivers has been launched by the Barossa Regional Road Safety committee.
As part of the competition, young people aged between 16-24 years are encouraged to design a poster, create a web page, start a blog on line, shoot a television commercial or design a drinks’ coaster to help get the road safety message across to young drivers.

“We all know young people are over represented in road deaths and injuries” Mr Ireland said.
“Through the competition we are aiming to get young people to spread the road safety message to their peers.”
Individual or team entries to the competition are welcome.
You people can also enter a written submission to the Barossa Road Safety Committee, detailing ways authorities can be more effective in reducing youth road accidents.
